    About "C.C. Coburn"

I ve been fascinated by the Rocky Mountains for as long as I can remember.Growing up in an Australian outback town with no TV and only one radio station, my summer evenings were spent lying on the back lawn looking up at the stars and trust me, in the Aussie outback the stars shine very brightly Winter nights were spent inside around the fire, curled up with the latest issue of the National Geographic. This amazing publication was my window to the outside world I loved its fascinating stories of human endeavor and sometimes freaky discoveries of science But it was the glossy photographs of places with interesting names, like Nantucket and Mystic and the majesty of the Rocky Mountains snow clad peaks, plunging waterfalls, incredibly green trees, glaciers and enormous deep blue lakes that really captured my imagination. The magazine s features on deserts never interested me heck I was surrounded by desert but whenever I picked up an issue featuring mountains or seashores, nothing could drag me away until I d devoured every stunning photograph and every last word I spent many long hours dreaming of visiting those faraway, fascinating places someday.Years later, I traveled to those magical locations and experienced them first hand They lived up to my expectations and even exceeded them.A few years ago, my husband and I were lucky enough to purchase a home smack bang in the middle of the Colorado Rockies We love the experience of small town Colorado life the people are truly amazing and we ve made so many wonderful friends in the States that we just can t stay away.I now spend around five months a year living in Colorado, taking inspiration from my surroundings and the people I meet there and creating stories woven around small town life in the Rockies.Being an author and writing about the places I love, I m truly living my dream

    1. I really liked this book. Adam was a great hero. He started out as the guy who avoided getting emotionally close to anyone, even his family, because of an issue in his past. When he rescued Carly's son and the dog, something about her caused him to start to feel again. Because of the fire, Carly ended up living on the ranch belonging to Adam's family, so he had constant exposure to them all. Thanks to their help, she was able to begin to get her life back on track after the fire. She also found [...]

    2. I loved it Adam O'Malley has to come to terms with guilt that he has been harbouring for 15 years and Carly is just the person to help him after rescuing her son and a dog called Molly from a fire, they are pulled together and through a tough battle they reach their HEA. Fantastic story.

    3. "Colorado Fireman" from C.C. Coburn offers another visit with the amazing clan featured in the "The O'Malley Men Series". What you get is even more than what you see with these fabulous folks! The O'Malley men are rowdy and rambunctious, both reticents and romanticists, and they are real, with rough edges just waiting for the right woman to smooth them out. Of course, their imperfections are part of their charm, so their special ladies learn not to smooth too much! In "Colorado Fireman", Adam O' [...]

But Spruce Lake is a small place, and Carly and her four children are new to town. Before he knows it, Adam's mother has invited Carly, her children and the dog to stay at the O'Malley ranch! As the widow of a firefighter, making a good life for her kids is Carly's number one priority. Meeting--and falling for--an [...]

    5. Loved this book! Adam is a hero that every woman dreams of, except for his tendency to push others away. Carly, however, has Adam figured out from the moment she met him. She doesn't stand for any of his grumpiness, and she works herself into Adam's heart in no time. I loved the part where he proposes marriage to her so her kids will live with him instead of some foster parent stranger. This book didn't have sex in it,just some steamy kisses, but even then those moments were written superbly. It [...]
