    1. I really wanted this to work because it had the kernel of a really great story. I overlooked the spelling errors. I cringed but moved past the non stop use of honey, baby, baby doll, kitten, romeo, on and on at least twice a paragraph. I even tried in vain to ignore the overall immaturity of the writing and characters, the fact that no one really acted within character, and the cringe worthy over optimism that made me gag at times. All this and i continued to try and dig through to the story i k [...]

    2. A must readA story to celebrate the strength it takes to live life to the fullest, love with all your heart, and not let anything keep you from either. Very emotional.

    3. This book is not in a genre I would usually read but, overall, I enjoyed it (once I was able to get past the story's obvious need of a thorough, professional edit). The story moved quickly and was mostly linear and clear, the characters were well-defined and had strong personalities, and it was obvious that the author cared about both them and their story. Her talent is particularly noticeable in the intimacy scenes, which she crafts with skill and passion. A MILLION WISHES was a quick read that [...]

    4. I hate to rate this a 3 but it didn't meet my requirements for a 4 so it's a 3.5, in all honesty this was a very difficult book to rate. I can review it and tell you that despite themany editing errors(it has recently come to our attention that I was given an unedited version by accident so please excuse any more comments about this)and the lack of realistic details this author can write a heart-wrenching story. The book is an emotional rollercoaster that leaves no prisoners.I’m capable of tel [...]

    5. I have just finished reading A Million Wishes for the second time. I have read both the first edition as well as the revised one and was pleased to see that the editing was addressed and corrected, which only improved an already exceptional story by this first time writer. This is a wonderful romantic tale about a young couple I could easily relate to. Both of the lead characters—Mikayla and Noah, are met with life altering obstacles, which with time, love and the support of each other, they ar [...]

    6. This is such a beautiful, heartfelt book. I can't hardly wait for book 2 because I feel emotionally invested in these characters. I laughed with them, cried with them, and cheered them on throughout the entire book. Once I started reading it I just couldn't put it down. I will be recommending this to all my friends. You can certainly tell the author did her research on amputee's and she really hits and builds on the emotions they go through and how hard but necessary it is to be a fighter and ju [...]

    7. A beautifully written story set in the south (I really enjoyed the charming southern slang that is bantered back and forth throughout the book) Noah and Mikayla have known each other since childhood and fall deeply in love as young adults. Both bring extreme psychical and emotional baggage to their relationship - Will their intense and selfless love help to heal both their minds and bodies? - No spoilers here, Read this lovely and heart-warming story and find out! Not a YA novel, for adults only [...]

    8. This book had me crying one minute, laughing the next and soon to follow I was fanning myself from the steamy love scenes (oh how I love those scenes!). It is a very deep book, lots of emotional content and makes you think about the things you do in every day life and appreciate them more. It may sound corny but it honesty made me want to be a better person and do more for people. The hero, Noah, is a sexy Navy Seal and he loses his leg in the war. Mikayla is a writer that has had a terrible fam [...]

    9. this book had it all, it made me laugh, made me cry, made me want to crawl into the book and belong there! this is a heartfelt book with so many emotions filtering through it, u have no idea how your going to feel from one page to the next!!! cant wait to read the next book - i will definatly have my tissues ready this time

    10. Great buildup of the characters, the history and long standing connection between them. You can feel how much they love and care for each other. I liked all the humor in the book as well, it balanced out the deeper scenes in the story. Very heart felt. Added bonus were the extremely hot scenes that made you feel like you were right there. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

    11. I so loved this story even though I was an emotional wreck. Baby boll and Romeo was such great names. I am so happy Noah and Mikayla found their way through all the hardships and relationship denials. There was never a dry moment and am on to Delilah story.

    12. Love this book!!! I cannot wait for the following books in the series. Captivating, breathtakingwishes do come true!

    13. I had to put this book on hold. Not that is was necessarily bad, but something about it was rubbing me wrong! It was too sugary or something, there was an artificial sweetness about it that seemed to be overkill and I found it was making me roll my eyes more than anything. I have archived this one, maybe I'll come back to it again later, maybe not. The southern tones were driving me mad, the over use of 'sugar' and 'darlin' and 'baby doll' and 'baby girl' and all these other would be words that [...]

    14. I try really hard to get all the way through books, but I couldn't do it with this one. I thought the romance was boring. They never really seemed to leave the house and socialize with others. The sex was okay. It felt kind of repetitive. The same thing over and over again. Even though the first 60% was minimally attention gripping, it should have stopped there. I had to put the book down permanently at the 85% mark. I could no longer take the unrealistic life of sunshine and butterflies. I'd sa [...]

    15. Full Review: thetbrpile.weebly/1/post/2The problem is that while there is so much that I love, there are equal parts hate in me. I can understand the forgive and let go theme but it wasn’t just a let go within yourself it was an actual you need to forgive, which personally left me gagging. While I don’t want to spoil for anyone I just could not understand wanting to forgive a mother that allowed and then stood by a man like that. Also in the start of the book we are lead to believe molestati [...]

    16. read this book because it was reccommended by another author that I read. I was interested in the relationship with a soldier and hisvenve. I thought it would touch on how hard it was to return to life after experiencing war. I was good for about 5 chatpters and then the story went off in a whole different direction and totally left behind the given premise of the story. How outrageous to win the lottery and totally leave the main characters behind to introduce ones the reader could care less ab [...]

    17. 3.5 critical stars. I like the begining and the ending, but, there are a big midddle parts that downgrade it's rating from 4.5 to 3.5I like how the story, the plot, but i think, it is a bit, too overly sweet happy ever after This series definitely have potential, and i'll look out for the second book.

    18. Well I had big hopes for this book but the more I read, the more disappointed I became. She is a good writer but her plot really had nothing to it. If you want a book that is erotic with not a lot of story line beyond this, then go for it! I think she could have dine much better with the erotica mixed in with a better story line.

    19. Ultimately I thought the story line was great, Injured SEAL vet marries his childhood love and they adopt 3 troubled teens. My issue lied in the writing style which annoyed me and the first 100 pages and back and forth between Miki and Noah which seemed to move in circles.

    20. I liked this but ultimately it just got too sappy and even a little dull for me. I loved the positive optimistic outlook of the story and the characters are people who can overcome suffering and become stronger and happier for it though.

    21. Great storyThis book is a great read. It has every emotion out there. I cried. It's the best description of family I've ever read.
