    1. Courtesy of CK2S Kwips and KritiquesAfter many years of waiting, Yvonne Jocks’s fans finally have the story we’ve been waiting for… the prequel to The Rancher’s Daughters series. When she wakes up completely naked in Kansas, one woman has no idea where she is, how she got there, or more importantly, who she is! Fortunately for her, along comes Jacob Garrison, a rancher taking his cattle to auction who is nice enough to help her, albeit grudgingly. Lillabit, as she is dubbed by the trail c [...]

    2. I loved this book. Could have done without all the language, but overall this idea was addicting. By the stroke of luck, I happened upon this one free and immediately bought the second one the moment I was finished with this. I love Garrison, and the complicated relationship he builds with Lillabit. I loved reading as Lillabit uncovered the more about herself. Spent a lot of this book laughing out loud and getting looks from my husband, with whom I eagerly shared whatever was happening on the pa [...]

Virtually nothing happens until 74% (according to my Kindle) into the story, and even then the forward progress is only because of 1 character who finally shows up and has some information to inject into the plot. One of the main problems is that I didn't become attached to any of the characters. They never really materialized for me. El [...]

    4. The OVERTIME series is my favorite set of books, even (barely) above the Grailkeeper series I wrote for Silhouette Bombshell. I'm so very glad to be able to make them available at last!
