    1. The brilliant Cora Harrison, Queen of Historical Romantic Young-Adult Boys-and-Gorgeous-Dresses Fiction, returns with the sequel to her absolutely charming novel Debutantes. You pick this book up with the expectation of its being a nice, fun read with maybe some historical gems thrown in, but once you open the frankly quite gorgeous cover you will be pleasantly surprised as you, Queen Cora's unsuspecting reader, are thrown headlong into a roller-coaster adventure with some hilarious and memorabl [...]

    2. Review by BethDebutantes: In Love is the sequel to Debutantes which I read earlier this year and I was really looking forward to it. After enjoying Violet, Poppy, Rose and most importantly Daisy’s escapades in the first novel I was looking forward to what was going to happen next.Without wanting to reveal too much there are a couple spoilers about the first novel. This novel focuses on Poppy mainly with still some bits of Daisy’s story and I really enjoy watching Poppy get what she wants fro [...]

    3. The second book in Cora Harrison's Debutantes series focuses on the two middle Derrington sisters, Poppy and Daisy, as they arrive in London for their debutante season. I was a big fan of the first book about the Derringtons and their home Beech Grove Manor, as it reminded me of some of my favourite books when I was growing-up by Noel Streatfield. It had the same charm and easy manner about it which always appealed to me, plus I adore books about large families and sisters in particular. The sto [...]

However, money and marriage is not their primary focus when they arrive in London but rather the cinema, music, jazz, parties and gossip that surrounds them while they are there. 6. I think I actually might have liked this book even more than the first one, if that's even possible. I LOVED the romances for Daisy and Poppy. Daisy experiences a new romance, and eventually finds the person she truly loves overtime throughout the book. Contrary, Poppy already knows the guy she wants to marry and is in love with, which is her best friend of many years. Their relationship and situation is very different from Daisy, so it was nice to see these two different stories. You also get t [...]

    7. Just the sweet, little romantic tale I was looking for. The first book was great, but, as I saw it, was a nice little set-up to it's sequel. I was so excited to read this book, to see if Daisy would get the happily ever after she deserved. I was a little disappointed at first when I opened the book to chapter 1 and saw that it began from Poppy's point-of-view, but the feeling didn't last long. The book soon switched over to Daisy and then went back and forth between the "twin" girls. I finished [...]

    8. I do think that this book was interesting. Unfortunatelly my favourite main character wasn't the leading main character (her name is Poppy) but her sister was, whom I didn't like as much, but I didn't hate her either. Their love story was satisfying, and I'm happy with the men they have ended up in the end and of course fallen in love with. Those men, or shall I say boys were very lovable and kind-hearted. Every girl's dream in a man!For this I have given the book 4 stars.

    9. A very nice book if you love Downton Abbey. This story is all about the 1920's.Young Debutantes Poppy and Daisy are coming out in society in London. But not without a bit of trouble here and then.
