    1. ** 2 stupid stars **Audio edition, narrated by Darcy Stark.2 hours and 27 minutesOverall: 1Performance: 3Story: 1I had just finished #1 Bear's Pup of this series. My review here. Bear's Pup was just a fun, silly, cheesy romance galore, but there's a point where cheesy becomes stupid, and it happened in this book. The story was just unbelievable and I was rolling my eyes harder and harder.Jack Woods is a team member of the Rescue for Hire company ran by the main character of #1, Cade. Cade and [...]

    2. After reading book one in Bellann Summer's 'Rescue for Hire' series, I was more than ready to jump right into Jack's adventure. As Cade's best friend, a valued member of the team, and a paramedic, I really wanted to see Jack find the love that Cade and Bret had. Plus, I wanted to see more of the guys. Sue me. I like 'em big, strong, and tough. The team is on a rescue mission right in their town at the community center after some whack job opened fire. Brian is hiding in the closet in his room wit [...]

    3. Overall book rating: DNFAudio Book: Darcy Stark: 3Book Cover: 3.5I'm not going to finish this. Again, the author lures you in with a witty idea in the first few pages and then everything falls to pieces with ridiculous events. I'm rather stopping now. Sad to say, because I liked the way they meet. Loss of potential.

    4. Jack is the medic at Rescue for hire. He finds Brian Hayward (aka Sweets aka Pip) when he rescues the man after his child care center is attacked. Just like his Boss, once Jack meets Pip he knows he’s the “one”.Brian is a very small guy, he was born prematurely and has remained petite his entire life. He loves kids and dogs and wouldn’t hurt a fly. The rest of his family are sports fanatics so he’s never felt included or loved for being himself.Jack and Pip make a home fairly quickly b [...]

    5. Uh. Pretty much like the first book in the series. These people are on speed and everything is super-simplified.I also wish to know where Jack’s apparently endless funds come from. I mean, that house of his? Whoa. Not that I think the author truly considered such matters; I get the sense that these stories are pure fantasies of ideal situations. Someone’s ideal, anyway.Once more there’s that strange fetish of huge guys lugging tiny guys around as though they are babies. And protecting them [...]

    6. 1.5 StarsSorry, this one didn't work for me. Brian falls on some asphalt and scrapes his hands and knees. Poor baby :( He has to be carried around and couldn't even pull up his own pants after using the bathroom? Are you serious? My kids are 5 and 6 (now) and when they were smaller they would fall a lot and get cuts and scrapes. Guess what? They use the potty all by themselves. It was a little too much for me to get behind. The pillows and blankets in the truck? Yeah. No.Wish we could learn more [...]

    7. Cute but totally unrealistic. There has to be SOME realism. Still cute and simple love story.***Read March 2014 originally***

    9. Well I didn't like it. It's more of the same things that were bad in the first book; jumpy narrative, flat characters, almost non-existent story It was also really overplayed. Seriously, scraping his knees on the asphalt caused Brian to be unable to walk for days?I honestly can't say anything about the characters since I didn't feel like I got any kind of grip of them. They were quite one-dimensional. It feels like this story was just about the sex, and they basically skip right to that, have a [...]

    10. Original Blog Post: headouttheoven/20My Rating: 3.5 of 5 StarsHave you ever made a mistake and then realized that fate had a hand in things and you stumbled into a book, an author, a series, that made you smile? Jack's Sweets is that sweet mistake and even if I do rate this the way I did, I will go out of my way, take the time and just click on the first book, Bear's Pup, so I could experience the joy of reading a relaxing nice read that is light and enjoyable. This is a great escape book, and ye [...]

    11. It pretty much lived up to the title was sweeta little too sweet actually. Jack is the typical big buff alpha male and Brian is the typical petite feminine boy. I kind of liked where the story went but it wasn't anything shocking or New. I also thought that there was a missed opportunity to delve into Brian's feelings regarding the big change they were going through. If it had been any normal person in that situation there would have been many feelings and fears going through their head that cou [...]

    12. A nice storyJack is the second in command of Rescue for Hire. On one rescue he finds a small man hiding with his class. After the rescue Jack takes Brian home with him. Brian was a very premature baby and has medical issues from it. He is a sweet man too. They have to deal with Jack's previous girlfriend. Interesting book with just enough drama.

    13. a bit better than bk 1 but not by much. same instalove, big dicked alpha Dom needing to be all end all for his small frail weaker man. and what is up with the weak guy getting pushed and getting road rash on hands n knees being unable to do anything for themselves all of sudden. on to bk 3

    14. Jack Woods tells ex girlfriend that he would;t be spoonable be the father of the child she is carrying because they always use protection, however paternity test showed that Jack is the father. Silly plot, silly mistake.

    15. Overall book rating: 2 Stars Audio book: Narrator - Darcy Starsk 2 Stars Book Cover: 2 Stars MC1: Jack Woods - Paramedic MC2: Brian HaywordEverything just happens way to fast in this book.
