    1. Dark and compelling this story is very well plotted, and interesting in it's take on the series. I really love the idea behind Emissaries in this series. I'm really looking forward to reading more.

    2. Deaton is teaching Stiles how to be an emissary and Nemeton makes Beacon Hills literally a supernatural beacon. He imagines it (mountain ash) falling around him like a perfect circular fall of snow, but the only thing he manages to do is literally cover himself in the stuff.Derek is in Mexico for sixty nine percent of the story and while he's there, he and Stiles can just text, e-mail and chat on Skype with each other. There's not a lot of romance, even when he comes back.It was good, but I was e [...]

    3. Rather a dark plotty Sterek, incredibly well written and illustrated, it has a professional feel to it. Compelling read, while certain things seemed obvious there was always something to wonder about. A fairly complicated plot but smoothly delivered.More plot than romance with Derek away until around the sixty percent mark, they communicate by text and email but those have a lot of character. I loved the sibling relationship between Derek and his Cora. Scott as alpha is a shit friend and the She [...]

    4. "The mind of man is capable of anything--because everything is in it, all the past as well as the future.""Heart of Darkness" - Joseph ConradOh I was really enjoying this, it was slow but steady and I dunno it felt comfortable but also like everything that was happening was building toward something wonderful but it just didn't and then, then something awful happened.(view spoiler)[^^This lot showed up!!(hide spoiler)]The last two chapters kind of ruined this for me, if things had been resolved [...]

    5. 4.5 starsThis really was a very good read, especially as this was the first part of a planned 3 part series - there is so much potential here. I love short and funny fanfics when I need something light, but my favourites always end up being the well-written longer fics that I can really get into. This was definitely one of them - it had a good close-to-canon type plot, action, everyone is IC and some nice character interaction (especially between stiles & scott/the sheriff/derek).I will say [...]

    6. Words. So many words. So much time spent on every detail, every thought and honestly it seemed every breath. But, I loved it. This would be Stiles day to day. I embraced seeing him fumble through his life. Through pain and fucking evil, he was there and was strong with just as much fight in him as he has insecurity, doubt and pain.He is constantly haunted by his past and literally being haunted the entire book but he never gives up, even when his feelings are hurt and he feels overlooked, he kee [...]

    7. I was not crazy about this one. It was overlong, the romance is almost non-existent (they share one kiss. One!), and I just did not like it very much.
