    1. This was a sweet Christmas story about Harper who ends up needing to go to the emergency room after coming out to his dad. When he is in the emergency room he sees someone from his past who he had a crush on but never realized he was bi. I honestly felt so bad for Harper after what his dad does and having everyone abandon him. So when he finds something special with someone he never thought he would have with I was so happy for him. I loved the way this author wrote this story and these characte [...]

    2. 4 Heart Review by KatI have been so thrilled with these sweet Christmas/Advent/Holidays novellas.Although this is a story that needs to be told, it’s not sweet or jolly. It is, unfortunately, a tale that happens way to often in homes. Boy realizes he is gay. Boy holds in his dark secret because his father (mother is dead) is deeply religious and being gay is a sin and an abomination. Boy can’t hold his secret in any longer. Boy tells dad and is literally forced out of his home that very mome [...]

    3. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review from Inked Rainbow Reads. This story is about rekindling old friendships from youth and discovering first love. Both Harper and Cash are reeling from the rejection of their Fathers. Cash has been able to accept his sexuality because he has had the support of his Mother from a young age. Harper however, has to deal with a Father who blames him for the death of his Mother/wife. I'm a little confused with this part of the book. I'm not sure if the [...]

    4. Potential not quite reached. For me, this story started with too much introspection and took too long to get going. I didn't really get any feel for the characters but I think this is down to my dislike of first person point of view. I'm guessing that if I had been enjoying the story then it may have received an "awww" towards the end, instead it got more of a "really?".

    5. After being kicked out of his home at Christmas, a young man becomes reacquainted with a former crush. They choose to give each other a chance at the future. The best gift anyone could receive!A short but sweet read.

    6. Sweet! Sweet! This is such a great story for the holidays. I loved how the story developed and the love came through! Need to read!

    7. A wonderful and touching story for the holiday season. Sure to become a Christmas classic that I will read year after year. Thank you Shaye.

    8. I didn't care for this story, and found it be depressing, more than uplifting. It felt as though too much time was spent on getting kicked out, having confusing thoughts, and going to the hospital. Nothing much actually happens!

    9. When Harper musters up the courage to tell his very conservative dad that he is gay, he is immediately thrown out of the house. With nowhere to go he ends up in the ER with a contusion on his cheek and hypothermia. This story was all over the place. I know it must be hard to fit a full story into a short story, but this story used way to many coincidences to tie up the story.

    10. Okay there some angst but it was such a sweet gag inducing cringed inducing book. If this was not a Christmas book I would think it was over the top but it is and it was perfect.
