    1. 2.75 stars I was sad to leave Josh and Gabe behind so I was pleased to learn there would be a spin-off series. It's just unfortunate that I didn't enjoy this as much as I had hoped. Chaz was annoying all throughout the book. I just didn't get what the big deal was about revealing his secret. I didn't think the big reveal garnered all the drama he was making it out to be. The book is surrounded by all this unnecessary drama and I just couldn't find myself to care. There wasn't much more happening [...]

    2. *sigh* It was so nice to be back in Blissville. I missed my boys!It was so nice being able to revisit the town of Blissville again. I fell in love with the community and it's inhabitants through Josh and Gabe's story in the Curl Up and Dye series and I was salivating at the thought of getting to read about Chaz and Kyle so I gleefully pounced on this book when it was offered up for review. In some ways, it was everything I could hope for, and more. We were given hints about a possible relationsh [...]

    3. **** First let me tell you I ADORED Aimee Nicole Walker's Curl Up and Dye series with the sassy, quirky characters and escapades. *** Here we have Chaz, 28, Josh/Jazz's receptionist/book writer and his lust for thehot Veterinarian, Dr. Kyle Vaugn, 36, alias, Dr. Dimples. Chaz has a hairless cat named Harry, who needs the vet. During that visit, Kyle gets an eyelash from the corner of Chaz's eye. Hmmmmm.Chaz has a secret that he is keeping from Kyle, but Kyle is unaware, so he flirts and pursues C [...]

    4. 1,5 starsHmm I think I had too high expectations for this one And I can't for the life of me understand why. I mean books in the Curl Up and Dye series were ok and nothing really spectacular or to rave about. So why I thought this one would be different I don't know. But still I was looking forward to reading about Chaz and Kyle. But it was different, a lot different. Unscripted Love lacked the sense of place and the friendships that were so prominent in the Curl Up and Dye and the overall feeli [...]

    5. I really enjoyed this book and was glad to finally get some Kyle & Chaz time. These two bumbled around for so long ! Finally they opened up and worked it out. This was a sweet read, pretty low on angst with a few humorous moments. While I liked lots about this book, for me the ending felt sudden and rushed and that was my only disappointment as this should have been a bigger moment. I understand there was a separate section for Josh & Gabe at the end as some bonus chapters and I totally [...]

    6. AHH IT'S CHAZ AND KYLE'S BOOK! I've been so excited to read this, and it did not disappoint. There's a bit of recapping what we've already seen in the Curl Up & Dye Series at the beginning (a little to much tbh) but it picks up after that. I loved revisiting this world. Kyle and Chaz are so perfect for each other, but it takes some work to get there. I wish Chaz had come clean a little earlier, but it wasn't too bad. I appreciate that he's not left off the hook by anyone, himself included. I [...]

    7. DNF. Which is funny 'cause I gave up at 80%. There was a lot of skimming involved, and I was bored a lot. Kyle's dialogues didn't sound like someone pushing 40, he seemed a bit juvenile for his age. I didn't find their story as captivating

    8. I don’t know about others, but starting a series which includes multiple books is as exciting as it is daunting. I have so many titles on my to-be-read list as is, that a full series inevitably gets pushed a bit further down. That’s been the case for the Curl Up and Dye Mysteries series. When I saw Miss Walker was beginning a new series, I was excited to get the chance to read from the start. While Unscripted Love is the start of a brand new series, it builds off the Curl Up and Dye Mysterie [...]

    9. Dual first person POV from Kyle and Chaz with two bonus chapters at the end from Josh and Gabe's POV. Recommended for those who like super fluffy and sweet, and don't mind having to work through some miscommunication to get there.

    10. 4 stars. This was a good read but I do wish that we had more of a background story to all the other characters. Although it says it's a standalone it's better to read the other series to get a better idea of who everyone is because they all are a huge part of the story. Because I was confused at the beginning.Kyle and Chaz were great characters and I loved seeing them together. The writing was good and the story itself really flowed well. Oh and the side characters were amazing after I got more [...]

    11. 2★'s = it was ok.Bummer. I totally loved the Curl up and Dye Mysteries Series and truly couldn't wait for this spin-off. It just wasn't a winner for me. I couldn't get into it and it took me forever to read! Mostly because I didn't seem that interested in reading it. Ugh.As much as I couldn't wait to get Chaz's story I ended up not liking him very much in this book. He was not nice really. His behavior made no sense to me. And Dr. Dimples came across as a doormat. You are a successful Dr. dude [...]

    12. “I’ve dated the dime-a-dozen guys, but you’re a one-in-a-billion man.”I was so excited for this book and reading Chaz and Kyle (AKA Dr Dimples) story and it didn't disappoint! This is book 1 in the Road to Blissville series, you could read it as a standalone but I wouldn't recommend it as the characters are spin offs from the Curl Up and Dye series and I think you would appreciate it much more by reading that series first. So throughout the Curl Up and Dye series we met Kyle and Chaz. Ky [...]

    13. So happy to return to Blissville! I don’t know about the rest of you but I was saddened when theCurl Up and Dye series ended ( though I’m grateful Walker ended the series on a high rather than dragging it out into perpetuity. Thank goodness!) WhenCurl Up and Dye ended, I couldn’t get KyleandChazout of my mind. I love the banter between Chaz and Josh ( it's easy to see why they’re best friends), and I couldn't wait to see how buttoned up Kyle would mesh with the spitfire that is Chaz. The [...]

    14. As fluffy as cotton candy.Random thought Chaz was Ross with the leather pants for Halloween and Kyle was Chandler before he removed his nubbin. Great choices, but I would have loved it if they were my favorite couple from friends, Joey and Chandler. Ross and Rachel are so overrated. Sweet, easy read with a great bonus at the end, and another Fated Hearts crossover! There wasn't much of a plot for this story, and I think the only way to appreciate it is to have read all of Gabe and Josh's stories [...]

    15. 3.5 starsThis book was heading towards less than 3 stars until Chaz finally got his head out of his ass and told Kyle the truth. Most of the drama in this one was self inflicted and it got old really fast and I did some skimming. The last 30% of the book was good though and I do have some interest in Jonathan and Emory's story.

    16. 2.5 starsI am a bit disappointed in this book. I thought it had so much potential. When I read the sparks between Chaz and Kyle in the curl up and dye series I was excited about them getting their own book. Unfortunately the book did not meet my expectations. Kyle was a great character. Sweet, kind and patient. He probably gave Chaz more chances then he deserved.Chaz on the other hand went from Josh's likable friend to super annoying in this book. I honestly started losing interest in the storyl [...]

    17. Unscripted Love is a spin off book of the "Curl Up and Dye" series. It says that this one could be read as a stand alone without reading the other stories first, but I disagree. I luckily read all of the books before this one, so I wasn't lost, but I think someone that was brand new to this one would be a little confused with all the different characters. I was really looking forward to this one because they introduced these characters in the previous books and I wanted to see them get their hap [...]

    18. This wasn't a bad read but it was clunky. The pacing was slow and then fast, drawn out and then rushed. There were lovely parts like the heroes personality, the circle of friends, the family, the pets.It was sometimes charming but certain aspects were just uneven. The secret went on too long despite the promising opening. The hot and cold was annoying. It dragged and then we didn't get enough of what was good. So, uneven.

    19. The structure of this book so distracting for me I really couldn't relax and enjoy the book. It just wasn't my thing. Plus, the premise was kind of silly to me.

    20. Yay finally Aimee Nicole gives us Chaz and Dr Dimples' romance and it's a cracker. We see the events leading up to Josh and Gabe's relationship and wedding from the other side and it's fascinating to read what their friends think. As for Chaz and Kyle, their relation is sweet and humorous with just a low level of angst and lots of great sex. Chaz feels guilt for not telling Kyle he's the guy he's been gaming with and slowly falling for. While Kyle's had feelings for Chaz even when he was still wit [...]

    21. I was in love with Kyle Vaughn, but I couldn’t say I was the best man for him.” So, as my friends can attest, I’m not the most patient of people *snorts* (tell me something I don’t know, says you!) Anyhoo, the prologue of this story had me hooked. I had to know what Chaz whispered in Kyle’s ear. What was this secret? What would the fallout be? I wanted to know, and I wanted to know NOW *shrugs* It doesn’t work like that in storyland though, does it? In a word, no. I felt compelled to [...]

    22. A Joyfully Jay review. 2.75 starsFor me, this book was lackluster because of the voice and point-of-view. It’s told in third-person past, and the execution gave me the impression of a memoir or a summary. So many times this stylistic choice shattered the immediacy of the moment or broke the tension of a long-anticipated scene. Because of that, I didn’t connect with either Chaz or Kyle, or their building love story. Also, I felt as if the author didn’t spend a lot of time building either Ky [...]

    23. This is a spin off from the Curl Up and Dye series and although it can be read as a standalone it would be much more fun to read from the very beginning but still not necessary to follow this story. I had already fallen in love with these sexy, fun and infuriating men as they made appearances in the other series. So, I was super excited to get my hands on their story.Aimee Nicole Walker yet again delivers exceptional writing, chemistry, passion and characters that you will absolutely adore. I lo [...]

    24. I'm staring at my screen with a smile on my face. Why? Because I'm trying to explain how familiar yet unique Kyle and Chaz's story is. It felt so much like coming home. was everything fun and funny, hot and sweet, romantic and confusing, but not. Just trust me on this, it works, perfectly. I wasn't just kissed by Kyle; I was immersed in him. I didn't just partake, I imbibed. I became inebriated from Kyle's mouth quicker than the time I stole a sip of my granddad's moonshine when I was thirteen.T [...]

    25. I loved every book from the Curl up and Dye series and i couldn´t wait to read about Kyle and Chaz. Now i wish,i hadn´t read it at all.Chaz seemed like a complete different person than the one we get to know in the previous books. He was a jerk with no backbone.I got whiplash from all the back and forth with Kyle. And Kyle kept running after and making excuses for him. Also the Lack of connection between those two(which was palpable in the prior books)threw me.I was blinded by my hopes for that bo [...]

    26. I already loved Chaz and Kyle in the former series and I love to be aible to finally read there story!kudos to the author for keeping the characters of the former series into this one!

    27. Unscripted LoveI am so happy that Chaz and Kyle finally got their HEA! Their story was everything I could hope for! Make sure you stick around for the bonus section. I couldn't believe when the epilogue was over that we didn't get more with Gabe and Josh but how could I question Aimee!

    28. *~~*ARC kindly provided by the author to me in exchange for an honest review *~~*This is my first book by Aimee Nicole Walker and although I haven't read the connected series, Curl Up and Dye Mystery, before and didn't know parts of the appearing character I could follow the story very well. Some parts still confused me a bit, at the end especially information are revealed in the epilogue it should be better that you read the series. Still this didn't dulled my joy over the book and Chaz' and Kyl [...]

    29. 4 out of 5 starsDescription ~ Kyle Vaughn had three goals in life: become a vet, find the man of his dreams, and start a family. He easily checked off the first item on the list when he took over his grandfather’s veterinary practice. Too bad he wasn’t as lucky in love. Chaz Hamilton took a leap of faith when he decided to pursue a career in writing, but one best seller didn’t mean he could quit his day job. All work and no play threatened to make Chaz a very dull man when the only romanti [...]
