    1. This wonderful debut novel by Mr. Roberts is exceptional in its scope and ambition, its writing, its character development, and its plot. In fact, it's pretty damned difficult to find anything about it that isn't perfect. Heartblaze does a brilliant job of combining vampires, werewolves and even historical figures with mordant humor, exhilarating action and a sensational gothic atmosphere. Whether you're twelve or twelve hundred, this is the book for you!Trust me, you will LOVE this book!

    2. ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review 4,5**** Dark & Mysterious starsWell that was an unexpected wonderful story and i say unexpected because at the first pages i was a little confused about liking or not but then as the plot evolving i really enjoyed it and now i'm obsessed to learn was is going to happen next in the story. That is a story full ofsuspense, intrigue, twists and secretsyou really don't know what is coming next, who is your enemy and who is your friend, who is tel [...]

    3. I had heard good things about this book, and I really wanted to like it myself. The premise of reincarnation always seems to have such interesting potential, too. I just felt a little bit like this book was trying to do too much and jumping here and there and everywhere. In time, in place, from person to person or species to species. At one point in the first third, I found myself wondering if I had accidentally started with the second book instead of the first. Things were eventually explained, [...]

    4. Author Shay Roberts avoids all the pitfalls in this paranormal romance that includes familiar elements spun in original and inventive new ways. From the story's setting--Providence and Newport, Rhode Island--to the social hierarchy of vampire society, HEARTBLAZE blazes new trails. Roberts has a genuine talent for world-building and as we meet each new character, we're brought inside secret worlds and ancient organizations that feel organic to the story and not just thrown in there to flesh out p [...]

    5. 5 stars!‘Heartblaze’ has the absolute happiest-ending/cliffhanger I’ve ever read, if happy-ending cliffhangers are possible. This emotionally engaging page-turner was devoured in less than 12 hours.‘Heartblaze’ is narrated from four key points of view, connecting several characters in one clear central plot line. It is incredibly well-written and has a carefully planned plot and cast of characters. There are soul mates, there is romance and adventure, there are vampires, were wolves, we [...]

    6. When you love stories about werewolves, vampires and reincarnation, this is THE story for you! And if you don't, just give it a try. I loved this story! It was written from the view of 4 different main characters: Cassandra from the 18th century, Emma (Cassandra's reincarnation from the present), Stefan (a werewolf) and Cynthia (a ghost). Wonderful to read how Emma learns more and more about her soul's past and gets to know Cassandra's vampire husband. (view spoiler)[I keep wondering during the [...]

    7. Great YA paranormal story with interesting and unique characters whose stories blend together to create a mural that pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. With past lives and paranormal creatures popping up to give Emma a bit more complications than her normal life entails, she embarks on a journey to find out who she really is, and who her true love was. Emma has high hopes and dashing disappointments, and she eventually finds what she was looking for, in a way! The ending was surprising an [...]

    8. Mr. Roberts has written a story with a promising storyline, but I have to admit that it took me awhile to sort out the characters in this one. Stefan has gone undercover as Micah, Emma Sue is a reincarnation of a vampire named Cassandra, Julian is and isn't Julian. The positives: well written and well edited, a nice mix of characters, good pace, and intriguing plot. I would have given it four stars if I hadn't had trouble keeping the characters straight. It's really as 3.5 star book, but I can't [...]

    9. This book is well written and intriguing. The author has a unique method of writing plot twists that leave you hanging and wanting more, I could hardly wait to turn to the next page. Emma is in trouble, haunted by her 200 year old past life and is in danger from multiple sources. I was entertained and am very anxious for the next book in the series.

    10. I haven't finished reading it but I don't think I can continue reading. There are too many perspectives and the plot is confusing.

    11. A story revolving around the current and past lives of souls destined to know one another in flow of life and death. Emma, just turned 19, is a kind and gentle soul despite the horrors of the history of her current life. Once a promising Transcendent, assassinated before her time, she's grown in a cruel institutional system of orphanage and foster care; abandoned and abused because of her gifts. Stefan, a soldier in past lives and the present, works for a zealot organisation, committed to the de [...]

    12. I found Heartblaze 1 to be one of the most interesting books that I have read in many years. Cassandra and Julian were married and she always felt bad about the man Tom that she had been married too before she met Julian she knew that she didn't want to hurt her father. But she was in love with Julian but she could't stay with a man she was not happy with and she and Julian lived a happy life until her head was cut one day they were out together and she has been gone from him for over two hundre [...]

    13. I really love the book! Never even thought about who Julian really was or what. It was really a plot twist. Also, Julian's character? Such a sweetheart! Even I want to find my own transcendent to cherish. Love it! As a whole, the story was thrilling, intriguing and amazing. Every chapter would leave you hanging and asking for more. Questions would always rise every chapter. You wouldn’t be able to stop reading. The characters had their own unique attribute that will make you love them, well ex [...]

    14. Absolute thrill ride from beginning to end, with lots of twists thrown in for good measure. If you enjoy a book mixed with reincarnation, shape shifters, and of course vampires, this is the read for you. Yes, as the author cautions you in the beginning, each chapter being the viewpoint of a different character does take a little getting used to, but oh man is it worth the time and effort. Started and could NOT put down until I finished it. Delightfully looking forward to #2 and the rest of this [...]

    15. I love Supernatural novels, and they have to contain a certain edge of your seat quality in order to keep my attention. You know those books where you start reading them and you get kinda bored so you start fidgeting and literally find ANYTHING else to do but read?? This is NOT one of those books!! lol This book is amazing actually. I loved it and I'm moving on to book 2 in the series. Emma has to be one of my favorite characters at the moment. I'll let you know how book 2 goes.

    16. Wow, must admit I love the story very much, it takes starts off with introductions that I found in-depth but, may have been better as a prologue, but once you get into what's presently happening its pulls you into the story definitely, I'm looking forward very much to reading the next in the series thank you Shay. Definitely one for those who love supernatural suspense thrillers with a little romance

    17. Well written story line but the plots are many and do not necessarily have closure. The one happy at the end of the book was a twist I didn't see coming. The souls of people in this book reincarnate over and over, the past and present, the beings that want the heroine for very similar and very different reasons. An intriguing 1st in a Saga or series. It is left to the next book to continue some plots and the story line.Definitely a Saga

    18.       There were a lot of things that drew me to read this book. I was give this book as an ARC to read. The thoughts of vampires, werewolves, fae and pastlives all rolled in to one had me on the end of my seat as I followed Emma on her journey to the passed. There were times I was a little confused on what was actually going but that did not take way from the mystery and mystical journey that was going on in the pages off Heartblaze 1. It was worth the read.

    19. Thanks to Snowfire Press for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest reviewThis book is exciting, well written and a complete page turnerI could not put this down, the characters hook you from the get go and I really connected to them. This book is awesome and I am excited to read the next one

    20. OMG, NO she didn't!! I got so caught up the story that it ended before I wanted it to, fast paced a filled with nonstop action! I can't wait to see what Emma does next! I am so hooked on this series!!

    21. I loved it I love all the characters and their stories thank you for a great read “Thanks to Snowfire Press for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.”When is book 3 coming out

    22. Shay Roberts has combined vampires, were wolves, were bears, ghosts, and a powerful witch into a story with many twists and turns. Well written, interwoven past and present done well, memorable characters. Looking forward to Heartblaze 2!

    23. Enter at your own risk! The inability to put this book down will overtake you.Miss Emma will tug at your heart strings and pull you in. If you enter you won't be sorry, this book stays with you once you put it down.

    24. I love the story and how it is written in the pov of each character. It's well written and balanced with excitement, suspense and great characters. I can't wait to continue this journey as I see it being a lot of great reading.

    25. OkayGood book but too much bouncing around for me. I also found the Were part of the story hard to follow and the names?? I felt like I needed a translator. Remember, this is just my opinion, I’m sure other people will love it. Just not my cup of tea.

    26. This book sounded really good, but it was very disappointing. I couldn't follow the story between all the characters. It just kept jumping around and actually gave me a headache.

    27. This book is awesome, exciting and fast paced. The caricatures are well rounded and the plot is very interesting.

    28. Very interesting book, the pages flew by, and even though it was about different people, they all came together. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a good story
