    1. OMG!!! Seriously, this book was amazing. I never thought I would love it the way I did, I mean, I knew I would like it, but not that I would be this crazy about it.My problem with other Sparks novels:His beginnings are always very slow , so until now I never gave more than 4 stars to any of his books. But that was not the case at all with this one.I loved every page of it. I never was dissatisfied at all, actually I couldn't stop thinking about the book. If you liked A Walk to Remember and The N [...]

    2. (Is it just me or Milers really look stoned here*kidding*)Amazing book, it's kind of emotional and depressing in the end but still it has a happy ending. Ronnie was like a character that I can personally relate to and the dialogues are just humorous. It's kinda like predictable but all in all it's really meaningful and highly recommended to all Sparks fans.

    3. When you look at modern Women's Fiction (or Chick Lit, as it is called for whatever reason), Nicholas Sparks is one of the few names you cannot turn away from that easily. He has written more novels than many other authors, most of them have become quite popular, and if you take a look at his page, you might realize that thirteen of his novels have more than 100,000 ratings. There was only one author who I discovered to have more novels than Sparks with such an achievement on .It's easy to figu [...]

    4. I wasn't able to fully appreciate this book the first time I've read it. I thought I should give this novel a chance, thus I read this again to see if I will like this more on the second time. I didn't like it, but rather I love it! I could see myself on Ronnie's shoes at family matters only. And how I wish that I have someone like Will in my life too just like Ronnie. hahaha!

    5. Reviewed by Jaglvr for TeensReadTooVeronica "Ronnie" Miller won't be eighteen until the end of the summer, so she has to follow her mom's rules and is off with her younger brother, Jonah, to spend the summer with her dad in a North Carolina beach town. Ronnie hasn't talked to her dad in over three years. He left New York City and their family and moved back to his hometown. Ronnie is rebellious and having been arrested for shoplifting back home, a quiet summer in North Carolina might be the best [...]

    6. I have always enjoyed Sparks’ books but we all know that we can only read his books at certain times (at least for me) because we CRY! I have heard about this one because I don’t live too terribly far from where it is filmed (my great pal Kathryn lives super close!!) and it was taunting me at Target last week. I bought it on Thursday, picked it up on Friday night to start reading it, went to bed reading it, picked it back up on Saturday and finished it! This is probably my favorite out of al [...]

    7. Loved this book. It was different to the movie and went into more detail. I loved the ending better than the movie, after such a sad thing that happened I was glad Ronnie and Will get back together.

    8. The last song, Nicholas SparksThe Last Song is a 2009 novel by American author Nicholas Sparks. The Last Song is Sparks' fourteenth published novel (fifteenth published book), and was written specifically as the basis for the film adaptation by the same name. It was released on September 1, 2009 by Grand Central Publishing. The story revolves around the summer of Ronnie (Veronica) Miller's seventeenth year, during which she is sent to stay with her estranged father. Through their shared love of [...]

    9. I've read a few Sparks books and for the most part, I’ve really enjoyed them from beginning to end. However, The Last Song took me quite a while to get into, and I was very close to throwing in the towel and giving up. To be honest, I realized I went into reading it with a bad attitude.*is ashamed*I'll explain my resistance two words one person Miley Cyrus. Not a huge fan of hers, so when I started this book, her image and voice resonated in my brain and it matched perfectly with Ronnie's (sho [...]

    10. “Sometimes you have to be apart from people you love, but that doesn't make you love them any less. Sometimes you love them more.”Astonishing good. It's my first Nicholas Sparks novel and I don't intend it to be my last after reading this. I like the way he writes and the way he depicts life in the most real way possible. This book had something true to it, well, it must have been the characters who had a vibe of realness in them that most books lack sometimes. Ronnie is a seventeen-year-old [...]

    11. After her parents divorced, seventeen year old Veronica "Ronnie" Miller felt as if her world was crumbling around her, especially when her father decides to move from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years on and still Ronnie is angry and has a bad attitude especially towards her mother. In fact Ronnie is becoming a handful to say the least. Ronnie's mother decides the best thing is for her daughter is to spend the summer with her father. Ronnie's father is a former concert pia [...]

    14. JIMINY CRAP!!!!!!!!! THIS BOOK WAS SO FREAKING GOOD.And those were understatements. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO KNOWS HOW TO READ MUST READ THIS!!! Geezz. I cried a lot.Half way through the book, I decided I would download the osp for the movie. And while reading, I was listening to the song over and over again. It didn't bother me. It actually made me appreciate the book more. A long time a go, after reading The Choice, I swore to myself I will never read a Nicholas Sparks's book again until my fri [...]

    15. This is my fav nick sparks book ever! Which is saying something because his other book, A Walk to Remember is heartwrenchingly beautiful and made me bawl like a baby! One of the main reasons why I adore this book is the writing, I love how the characters interact with each other and everyone has their sassy pants on. I had fun reading this book :DI've been fangirling during the cute moments between Ronnie and Will. They banter and kid around with each other a lot, but you could also sense the co [...]

    16. "La vida era como una canción. En el comienzo, hay misterio, al final, hay una confirmación, pero es en el medio donde todas las emociones se asientan para hacer que todo valga la pena". ¡¡Amé, amé, AMÉ este libro!!Sin embargo ¡a leer con Kleenex! Los que vieron la peli, ya están prevenidos de que se puede terminar así:o asío, como en mi caso, así:

    17. I finished The Last Song and have sufficiently recovered from the thumping toothache it gave me from being so saccharine and sweet. Even after finishing it and mulling it over a bit, I’m still not entirely sure I liked it. I think I’m leaning very much towards no.Veronica “Ronnie” Miller is 17 and going through 'that' stage. She’s disrespectful to her mother, she goes out partying and clubbing in New York where she lives and she’s also had a slight run in with the law due to some sho [...]

    19. I first read this book 8 or 9 years ago before the movie came out and I absolutely loved it (I also loved the movie and it is a fairly good adaptation but the book is better. The book is almost always better). I am glad to say that years later, my opinion on the book hasn't changed and I loved it just as much this time around. When I was younger, I used to love all of Nicholas Sparks's books. It was around when this one came out that my feelings towards his books started to change. I read this on [...]

    20. An angst-ridden teenager. Placed in a foreign location. A boy (for no apparent reason) falls for her. She starts to show her real personality. She and her father reconnect. Her father coughs. Revelations start coming out of everywhere. Her mother is not so great after all. Her dad's dying (see above: cough). She verbally abuses the boy and he kindly takes it, because he's a gentlemen. He leaves. Her dad dies. She's matured as a person. She goes home and completes the task her father left her wit [...]

    21. I really liked this book! I just finished it. About the middle of the book something really shocking happens. I would have never guessed it happened. I almost came into tears some parts of the book was so sad. This is totally a girl book! Romance- Not bad romance. Relationship. Once you read the book you get why The Last Song is such a good title! And why it's The Last Song. The reason for why it's called The Last Song is sad. I decided to give this book a try because I saw the preveiw for the m [...]

    22. “Life, he realize, was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end there is confirmation, but it's in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile.”The Last Song is my first Nicholas Sparks' book and I am positively certain this book will not be my last. The Last Song is a heartfelt story about first love, loss, the common problems of a teenager's life and is filled with many emotions and stunning, but imperfect characters that develop throu [...]

    23. More than 5 stars ,I enjoyed reading it from the first word to the last word of it , It was a light reading, and PERFECT

    24. First of all you should excuse me in advance since this is only the first ever review that I write not only for a book but for well whateverd well also apart from that it's the first book I've read since at least ten years agod that's not all hehe, until now I was used to reading a different style of booksHaving a first view of the book I could tell that probably I don't belong to the "target group" that this novel is more suitable fore plot and well Nicholas Sparks previous ones indicated that i [...]

    25. 4.5 Stars I originally heard aboutThe Last Songbecause the movie was coming out some years ago. I watched the movie and fell in love. Eventually I thought to buy the book and it sat on my shelf for the longest time. Finally I picked it up and I'm so very glad I did.I can't began to explain how much more I love the book rather than the movie. It was just so much more insightful to the characters and their stories.Plot-I knew the plot and all the twists going in so I thought I wouldn't enjoy it as [...]

    26. The Last Song is by far so much better than the movie. Hands down. There are so many details that were not done in the movie that Sparks truly made the book feel complete and perfect. Since Nicholas Sparks wrote it, it is already a given that it will be sad. He always adds a dramatic twist at the end of his books, which is why I enjoy reading them! I will not spoil what happens but he gives indications early on as to what will occur so it becomes predictable. However, the ending of this book is [...]

    27. As most of you know, I LOVE Nicholas Sparks. I did find this book very predictable more so than most of his other books. I can see where it would appeal to the "younger" crowd. The main character is 17 yrs old and with Miley Cyrus having a say in the character's name and a dedication in front of the book, it is sure to be a seller among young teen readers! However, I am not sure how I feel about this book. The story is sad, frustrating and unrealistic at times. I don't like the way the mother ha [...]

    28. I read this on a summer holiday, I recall being in a caravan and also being at the beach at the time. Isn't it funny the things that we remember whilst revisiting a book. This was a really nice story, Mr Sparks will always deliver a sweet story with angst and emotion, and always a message thrown in for reflection as well.

    29. COME ON? What's with the picture perfect reviews on this book? This book has nothing appealing to it. I don't know what it is about Nicholas Sparks but his books always give that sort of dull, sameish vibe to it. Apart from The Notebook, his other books are basically the same. This book is no exception. There is honestly nothing special. It's about this kid Ronnie who likes to party but is actually a smart girl who reads, get this, Anna Karenina. Still, she manages to screw herself over and hang [...]
